Izenour, Steven

Bio Sketch

Steven Izenour (1940–2017) was an American architect, educator, and theater designer. He was a partner with Venturi and Scott Brown and co-author of Learning from Las Vegas (1972/1977). His expertise in signage, communication systems, and theater design contributed significantly to the book's analysis of the Las Vegas Strip. He taught at Yale and designed numerous theaters and performance spaces.
