British architect (b. 1942), founding partner of Richard Rogers Partnership. Key figure in the High-Tech architecture movement. Worked on the Pompidou Centre (with Rogers and Renzo Piano) and the Lloyd's Building. Associated with the "Bowbellist" generation of British architects who combined Modernist engineering with expressive structural language.
