Fisher, Mark

Bio Sketch

Mark Fisher (1968–2017) was a British writer, theorist, and teacher (k-punk), a founding member of the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit and a central figure of the blog-era left. He coined "capitalist realism" and wrote on hauntology, mental health, pop culture, and (posthumously) "acid communism" and left-accelerationism. His work is a key reference for Geoffrey's neoliberalism & architecture, postmodernism & critique, and everyday areas.
