Relevance to Geoffrey's Research

Herron and the Committee matter to Geoffrey's capitalism, urbanization & gentrification and spectacle & iconic architecture areas: their critique of the "urbanism of the simulacra" and of touristic ruin-nostalgia (Vergara) directly addresses how post-Fordist ruin is aestheticized and sold.
